| Mütterquote? Das Wort hat das Potenzial, der Schrecken überhaupt für Unternehmen zu werden. Bevorzugung von Müttern im Arbeitsleben? Sollte die CSU-Politikerin Christine Haderthauer mit dieser Idee Gehör finden und sie am Ende gar etablieren können? Die Privilegierung von Müttern?Doch von Anfang an: Haben fehlende Babys etwas mit dem unerbittlichen Arbeitsleben in Deutschland zu tun? Mit der Sorge, dass weibliche Karrieren in dem Augenblick, in dem eine Frau Nachwuchs zur Welt gebracht hat, beendet sind? Zumindest, wenn frau in der freien Wirtschaft arbeitet? In der Politik und bei Vater Staat sieht es anders aus. Da ist man frauenfreundlicher.Jedenfalls ging 2009 die Geburtenzahl laut “WamS” in Deutschland drastisch zurück. Und von der Hand zu weisen ist es nicht, was Bayerns Sozialministerin Christine Haderthauer den Unternehmen da vorwirft: „Mütter erleiden nach der Geburt einen Ansehensverlust in der Arbeitswelt wie nirgendwo sonst auf der Welt“, monierte die CSU-Frau heute in der “Welt am Sonntag”.
Der Satz hat es in sich. Dahinter verbirgt sich zum Beispiel die traurige Realität, dass Schwangere oft “signalisiert” bekommen, sie bräuchten nach der Niederkunft gar nicht erst wieder anzutreten. Das trifft auf mittelständische Unternehmen ebenso zu wie auf Konzerne. Und wenn die Signale nicht reichen, werden viele Personalabteilungen auch gerne mal deutlich und zitieren die junge Mutter kurz vor ihrem Rück-Eintritt in die Firma, um sie einzuschüchtern – bis sie unterschreiben, dass sie ausscheiden. Und dann gibt es die Unternehmen, die die Frauen zwar zurückkehren lassen, aber dann zur Strafe keinen Zentimeter mehr weiter kommen lassen. Karriere- wie gehaltstechnisch. Denn so gesehen sind Väter eigentlich auch nicht verfügbar. So belegte schon eine Studie, die sich mit Banken und deren Frauen-Förderung oder besser Nicht-Förderung befasste: Selbst wenn eine Frau längst über das gebärfähige Alter hinaus ist und auch keine Kinder hat – befördert wird sie trotzdem nicht. Die Fiktion reicht vollkommen. Oder sehen Sie in einem Vorstand einer Großbank eine Frau? Stattdessen jammern die Unternehmenslenker landauf landab plötzlich über die fehlenden Managerinnen. Dass die Frauen – böseböse – angeblich gar nicht im Unternehmensalltag Karriere mache wollen. Sich ihm hinterlistig entziehen. Und mit ihnen die Headhunter, die traurig sind, dass sie keine entsprechenden Frauen finden, die sie nur noch mal eben abwerben müssen. Solche, die schon kurz unterm Vorstand angekommen sind und die von ihnen nur noch wie reife Früchte vom Baum gepflückt werden brauchen. Dabei übersehen sie alle geflissentlich, dass die Unternehmen seit Jahrzehnten die Chance hatten, weiblichen Managementnachwuchs heranzuzüchten. Abiturientinnen gab es schon vor 30 Jahren genügend. Und Uni-Absolventinnen auch.
